Mitrais is to implement its hospital information system, MMS-HIS, at Panti Nirmala Hospital in Malang, East Java.
Under an agreement signed recently, Mitrais will implement MMS-HIS to provide the foundation for a reliable, web-based hospital information system.
MMS-HIS integrates of all administration, operational and financial reporting services in hospitals and the information associated with those services.
The Head of Panti Nirmala Hospital Foundation, Mr. Guntur Gunawan, said Mitrais was chosen to provide the system because of its professionalism and because the ongoing development of the MMS system would enable it to meet the hospital’s requirements now and into the future.
Panti Nirmala selected Mitrais to implement MMS-HIS after the failure of two earlier systems.
The MMS-HIS implementation is scheduled for completion at the end of 2010.
Established in 1929 in Malang, Panti Nirmala was initially a small clinic which has now developed into a 172-bed hospital. It provides services for emergency care, outpatient and inpatient care as well as medical support. Outpatient services cover general practice, dentistry, pediatry, obstetrics and gynecology as well as other specialist clinics like ENT, pulmonology, internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology and neurology. Medical support services include laboratory services, pharmacy, radiology, TCD, Operating Theatre, ICU, dialysis units, medical rehabilitation, CSSD, stroke units and 24-hour ambulance.
