A Bali hospital is to implement the Mitrais hospital information system, MMS-HIS.
The Government-owned Tabanan General Hospital Board (BRSU) will progressively implement MMS-HIS, starting with the Nyitdah Private Wings of the 192 bed facility.
MMS-HIS is part of the Mitrais Medical Suite (MMS) whose modules can be implemented separately or as an entire integrated suite of applications. The integrated hospital information system supports the provision of all forms of services in a hospital.
The CEO of BRSU Tabanan, Dr. I Gede Wirjana Patra Jaya, said the new information system underpinned a strategic decision to improve the delivery of services to patients, including tourists who make a significant contribution to Bali’s economy.
Dr. Wirjana explained that the Hospital enabled people with a pre-existing medical condition to vacation in Bali and to receive necessary treatment for the condition, instead of considering another holiday destination.
Mr. I Nyoman Hari Sujana, SE. M.SI, head of the Hospital’s finance department said “We chose MMS-HIS because Mitrais has an outstanding reputation in software development. We believe that MMS-HIS will provide significant value and improve the effectiveness of delivering all our services and the information associated with them.”
He said the hospital also selected Mitrais because of the ongoing development program mapped out for the Mitrais Medical Suite.
