Panti Nirmala, a highly recognized private hospital in eastern Java is
implementing MMS-HIS to replace a legacy system and to deliver improvements in
the operation of the hospital and in patient care. Key requirements specified by
hospital management are the system’s ability to integrate patient health
information from various points of care, accessibility and the real time update
of information. The integrated and web based nature of MMS, coupled with clear
product development roadmap, is seen as a perfect fit for the hospital.
Tabanan Hospital chose a new private wing that has been added to this major
public hospital in Bali, in which to begin its implementation of MMS-HIS. Among
the hospital’s requirements to be satisfied by MMS-HIS are its scalability and
ease of integration with medical equipment. The modularity of MMS enables a
staged implementation in line with the hospital’s priorities. The
interoperability of MMS allows easy integration of processes and data to and
from various information systems to achieve comprehensive information management
and easy access to information.
Mitrais has implemented MMS–Polyclinic, one of the products in the Mitrais
Medical Suite, for the Australia-Bali Memorial Eye Center (ABMEC) in Denpasar,
Bali.
MMS–Polyclinic provides the spectrum of information systems that manage
end-to-end patient care processes for ABMEC.
It is fully able to meet to the Eye Center’s specific requirements “out of
the box” and provides a standardized solution. It manages functions including
patient registration, outpatients, operating procedures, eye diagnostic
procedures, lab examinations, pharmacy, cashier, material replenishment and
various types of reporting.
Mitrais applied its extensive project management knowledge and experience at
ABMEC to ensure the timely implementation of MMS-Polyclinic.
ABMEC is a living memorial to the victims of the Bali bombing that occurred
in October 2002. It was built and equipped by the Australian Government as part
of its international aid and development program and donated to the Bali
Provincial administration to serve the local community in the provision of eye
care and the treatment of preventable blindness.
Mitrais has implemented MMS-HIS, one of the products in the Mitrais Medical
Suite, to support PT Freeport Indonesia’s provision of health and medical
services to its employees.

end-to-end solution from patient registration through to billing. The system at
PT Freeport Indonesia serves one hospital, one major and seven satellite
clinics. Following implementation in 2007, Mitrais and PT Freeport Indonesia
have been engaged in refinements aimed at enhancing the benefits delivered by
the system.
